With pleasure Gietburg Group wishes to announce its acquisition of Brinks Metaalbewerking in Vriezenveen.
Brinks Metaalbewerking is a supplier of valve blocks for the hydraulics market and parts for the automotive industry, agricultural industry and mechanical engineering in Europe. A variety of materials such as aluminium and steel are machined, cleaned and assembled in an environment which is heavily automated.
Gietburg Group, to which Doesburg Components and Gieterij Doesburg belong, develops and produces cast iron components for the international truck and motor industry and gets access to the hydraulics market through this take-over, as well as extra production capacity in light of the increasing demand for light and sustainable materials in the automotive industry.
Because of this acquisition, Gietburg Group’s 2021 turnover with its 500 employees will be approximately 125 million Euros.
This acquisition means that Brinks Metaalbewerking will get access to Gietburg Group’s international customers and R&D facilities. Brinks Metaalbewerking will continue operating under its own name.
